In order to ensure you are able to hold on to something for a long time, you need to make sure you take extra efforts to protect it. Most toothpastes contain fluoride and while that is a good thing for adults, it may be bad for developing kids to start on from an early age. Too much fluoride causes white spots appearing on their teeth so make sure it is only a pea size amount that you allow them to use to brush with.

Sugar free gum is capable of strengthening the gums and teeth and when you do chew gum, saliva that builds up is very helpful in eliminating harmful bacteria and reduces decay and gum complications. You could also you antibacterial mouthwash as well to rinse your mouth after meals thus removing any remains of food in your mouth.
